SALES POLICY Shipping, Warranty etc.

SALES POLICY – DOMESTIC SALES: We make every effort to accurately describe each item listed. Scarcity, condition, age, origin, and any other available details are noted as exactly as possible. Unless otherwise noted any item may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price. The conditions for the return are as follows: We must be notified of your intent to return an item or items within fourteen days of your receiving the item. The returned purchase must be in the same condition as when it was shipped to you. We must receive the returned purchase no latter then 30 days from the date of purchase. Only the purchase price will be refunded the buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs. Returned items must be properly insured during shipping. Refunds will not be given for damaged or uninsured items.

SHIPPING DAMAGE: Most of our items will be professionally packed and shipped. Any item damaged in shipping must be returned to the local buyers shipping office with all the original packing material. Any claims or refunds will be handled through the shipper’s office. We will aid in the process to the upmost of our ability.

FOREIGN SALES POLICY: Because of the complicity of foreign shipping, we are unable to offer refunds on items shipped overseas. Note that we are unable to ship to China unless the buyer takes full responsibility and pays for all shipping costs. Customs forms will be accurately filled in and the foreign buyer will be responsible for all customs costs. We are always pleased to provide additional photographs and any information we have to prospective buyers. We will make every effort to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase before it is shipped.

PRIOR SALES: All listed items are subject to prior sales. We strive to keep our pages up to date. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS: Michigan residents will need to pay the 6% sales tax on the purchase price.

PHOTOGAPHS: It is very difficult to get an exact color match using artificial light. I make every effort, but the item colors may vary to a greater or lesser extent than those shown in the photographs. If the color is very important to you as a buyer, please check with me before you purchase any item, and I will help as much as possible.

ABOUT: We have wide experience in the field of Antiques since 1973. restoring antique furniture in South Africa. We moved into the field of Oriental Antiques in the 1990’s when we started collecting Chinese Jades and other antiques. Gradually an interest in Japanese works took shape and that is one of the main things we specialize in. The items offered for sale are all handpicked and based on our years of experience and passion for history.
